PODCAST TOURS FOR THE TRIBECA FILM FESTIVAL

sponsored by American Express
created for 2006 Film Festival; to be re-issued for 2007 and 2008 Film Festivals.
Barry Lewis and Billie Cohen, contributing editor to TimeOut NY.

These are four “tours” of different New York neighborhoods available in both MP3 and iTunes formats. Both formats can be downloaded without charge. Each “tour” is keyed to one of the four main movie theaters the Tribeca Film Festival used as venues for their tours.

These are not traditional block-by-block tours of an area. Instead they're an introduction to an area with Barry giving the historical background and the evolution of these areas over time and Billie mentioning eating places and shopping that might interest people coming out of the theater and asking themselves “Where am I?” and “What's there to do nearby?”.
